Matthew Arreza Sarmiento

As part of the CERT III Binnacle Course assessment it required us students to develop a business stall primarily focused on a variety of food items, including donuts and pizza. During these interactions I've learned the following:

• Addressed customer needs and made product recommendations to increase sales.
• Welcomed customers and helped determine their needs.
• Stocked, tagged and displayed merchandise as required.

My Basketball team (AIK) set tasks to every single member of the team to volunteer in a line of work during our off-season. I myself volunteered in the local food stall located inside the sports hall, selling, cooking, and serving snacks to customers and coaching staff

• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.
• Built relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Worked flexible schedule and extra shifts to meet business needs.
