Aug 2016, Current, Volunteer, RSPCA Brisbane, Brisbane, Since relocating to Brisbane, I have been volunteering at the RSPCA animal shelter at Wacol. I have always had a love for animals and since I have been unable to own pets in my current place of residence since moving, I decided to apply to the volunteer team so that I can continue to care for animals. Volunteering at the RSPCA is a very rewarding experience and I have gained many new skills. I have been able to draw on retail skills such as selling and interacting with members of the public and this has made me a valuable member of the volunteer team.
