With over 6 years of experience as a Surface/Underground Diamond Driller, I have worked on prestigious mining and construction projects across Australia. My expertise lies in operating and maintaining drill rigs efficiently and effectively. Lately, I've dedicated myself to specializing in training and supervising employees to manage their own rigs, thereby enhancing my knowledge and skills as a worker. This focus ensures top-notch sites and equipment standards. My strong adherence to WH&S regulations underscores my commitment to safety. ALSO known for my decisive nature and ability to perform under pressure, I am ready to start immediately and am open to FIFO/DIDO work arrangements. • Operating many different top drive & chuck drive drilling rigs (LM90, LF130, LF160)
• Drilled with multiple different types of rod pipe (BQ,NQ,HQ,PQ) using a range of different types of bits to accommodate ground conditions
• Directional drilling (Cutting lip's, navigational operations, setting wedges) all at depths ranging from 50m to 1500m +
• Recovery/fishing out any lost or broken down hole equipment at any depth that's required (Bowen spearing, carrot taps, casing cutters)
• Complete safety documentation such as JSEA'S, JHA'S, swims, take 5's
• Carefully pre-planning drill holes to successfully hit targets of depths ranging from 10m through to 2000m+
• Constantly surveying trajectory of holes with always updating technology and equipment
• Trained to complete Geosensor wireline logging, surveying to depths of 1450m
• Drilling for months in remote, offsite locations aswell as drilling on mine sites with constant cliental presence
• Completing routine maintenance and more advance upgrades on machine and equipment
• Used a wide range of drilling fluids to keep the hole running at maximum capacity and core recovery at 100% through target/ broken zones
