My main objective, as an educator, is to motivate students of all abilities to reach their full potential through a stimulating learning environment. To accomplish this, I deliver lessons in an engaging manner, thereby capturing student’s attention and imagination, and sparking a desire to learn. In addition, I incorporate hands-on activities, cooperative learning and technology within my teaching to foster an appetite for learning in all students regardless of their cultural background and learning abilities. Throughout my 25 years experience as a classroom teacher, I have changed my teaching practices to best cater for my students. I want them to have every possible opportunity for success now and into the future.
