• Ppe was a must, earplugs,safety glasses,gloves,charcoal p2 mask.
• Print and read job sheets to ensure all options were correct and applied.
• Drill the correct holes to suit job sheet
• Sanding welds off ,sanding complete boat for preparation for paint shop
• wiping soot ,grease and pen marks off with thinners before pushing boat into next section
• Meeting daily targets as a team and engaging with supervisors constantly.

Carpet room 2 years

• Daily targets to be met
• Print and read job sheets to ensure all options were correct and applied.
• Going off serial number on timber floor taking that off trolley and place on carpet roll.
• spray glue on the carpet roll and also timber floor in order for it to bond together
• Once tacky cut and fold job and place in another rack for the next section.
• Report to supervisor

Supervisor 9 years

• Daily Targets and monthly targets had to be met.
• Manage a team of 15 staff sometimes more sometimes less depending on what area .
• Solve problems on the fly daily , move staff around to get the daily target out
• Daily toolbox meetings with staff so they would understand what was expected daily
• Report to upper management throughout the day
• Safety was on the top of the agenda
• Stocktake was done monthly on all consumables
• over the 9 years i was priviledge to supervise , carpet room ,weld section , carpentry area , quality control sections ,paint area and also roto fit areas

• Performed preparation of aluminium boats for paint shop.
• Use of power tools , air tools to prepare metals and sand boats with 120 grit sandpaper .
• 4 inch and 9 inch sander/ linishers were used to take off welds then apply bog for a smooth finish for paint

• Filled cracks, removed dents and painted boat exteriors to restore condition and appearance
