- Perform proactive and reactive inspections in accordance with the councils Road Management Plan.
- Working in tandem with other departments to help create works programs. i.e., the Renewal team and the Local Laws team.
- Liaising with the Risk Department for possible claims from the public.
- Liaising with customers to resolve issues in accordance with the RMP.
- Acting in the team leaders role when required. Which involves getting work crews set up for their daily tasks, and helping to solve any issues that may arise throughout the working day.
- Being first point of call for admin if any emergency works CRM's arise.
- Being actively involved in the creation of the handbook for the new RMP that the council will adopt. Also being involved in any new procedures that get put in place.
