  • David moss Approached me to work for them and build their reseller network as they had always manufactured the products to suit these industries being - Rural, Irrigation, Plumbing and Electrical
  • Once I started working there, I instantly saw the great potential that is available at Damos, but it just needed to adjust a few of its working structures by giving loyalty to the Large Buying groups that needed a company like there’s to be able to assist their customers
  • This began very quickly with becoming a supplier for Elders in WA and then also becoming a National Supplier for Elders in Both the WA and QLD regions
  • Alongside Elders I also managed to get Nutrien Australia to Sign up with Damos in a capability that we were able to supply all Nutrien Stores in WA as a Second option supplier for the stores and across Australia as a supplier option for all stores
  • Both companies are the biggest Companies in the Rural and Agriculture industry in Australia
  • Outside of this I also was able to get MM Electrical and Galvin’s plumbing to sign up Damos as a supplier for their WA Stores
  • These two companies are two of the biggest reseller companies in the Plumbing and Electrical Industry for Western Australia
  • Became the Poly Display Supplier for Elders at the Dowerin Field Day in 2021 Have 100% of the Plumbing, Electrical and Rural stores in the Kimberley and Pilbara Region Am the Number one supplier for Reece Plumbing in WA Took Over Civil Market in March 2022 and increased market by 30% in first five Months Became Number one Supplier in WA for Nutrien Ag and Water Meeting and Organising Freight deals and contracts to build Regional Customer sales.

  • My position with Acu-tech pipelines was a new position for the company, they had never dealt with the rural and irrigation market previously and were already a market leader in dealing with the Mining and Civil markets in the Heavy duty poly market which is a very highly competitive market in WA with a total of 5 different manufacturers in the market
  • In dealing with the market I faced a huge opposition mainly from Iplex and Vinidex who have both been in the market for decades and were the only companies on people’s minds when it came to their rural and metric poly purchases
  • With this in mind I used my relationships I had built when I was at Iplex and managed to get over half of the market to deal with us in the first few months through constant service and competitive pricing through the state of the art machinery that Acu-tech had purchased
  • Before the end of my service in October I had already been receiving over 300k of sales per month in the busiest months and a steady amount of sales in the quieter months
  • In August of 2019 Iplex had pulled out of the market as they were unable to compete with our quality of service that we were providing many of their customers.

  • Iplex Pipelines was one of the two major Manufacturers of PVC and Poly piping in WA
  • The company was founded in 1938 and was recognised as one of the top pvc and poly manufacturers in Australia
  • I began my employment with Iplex when they had lost a lot of the market due to poor servicing of the market, The previous year they had only managed to turn over around 4.2m in the irrigation market and I was trusted with recovering the business back to being a Number one manufacturer in the market sector
  • In the first year I managed to get Total Eden and Landmark to return to dealing with Iplex through a different approach of dealing with their business then they had ever received before, This alone I believe is what kept us going strong within the market for the seven years I was with Iplex
  • This resulted in around a 6m turnover in the irrigation market in the first twelve months I was with Iplex and over the seven years we experienced a turnover of between 5.6m and 7.2m each year I was employed there
  • Unfortunately, the market had experienced a lot of downturn with the Mining crash and they felt they didn’t need my position any longer and it was made redundant and so was I in the result of this.
