· Shipped goods and performed boxing, packing, labelling, and preparation of related documents.

· Receipted goods and reconciled against related documents, including allocation of locations for news SKU's.

· Communicated with teammates and supervisors to maintain smooth operations and quickly handle any issues impacting warehouse operations or customer satisfaction.

· Drove forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment to move materials.

When I joined Hal Leonard, the business had a turnover of around $4M, growing to $35M by the time I left. Initially, I was part of a two-person team, and I later moved into a warehouse supervisors position. As the business grew, I realised that man management was not for me, I requested that I revert to a store person position, but I remained a lead person in onboarding new staff. The business has three distinct warehousing functions; sheet music books (high volume/low value), musical instrument products (low volume/high value) and a hire library for musical scores. In all, there are over 1.2 million items receipted into, and dispatched from the warehouse per annum.
