Duties

• Leadership, Training & Mentoring

Contribute to driving a cohesive team-based achievement culture by

providing technical advice and behavioural coaching and mentoring

• Support and promote internal policies and practices, identifying and

immediately acting on any non-compliance.

• Promote productivity improvements in line with strategic, business

and operational plans.

• Provide training to Contractors working on or near the Energex Network

• Safety Leadership

Promote a safe work environment and ensure all training activities of the

team and external contractors are planned and performed in

accordance with relevant policies and procedures, risk frameworks

and legislative requirements.

• Identify and immediately rectifying unsafe work practices.

• Support the team and encouraging them to raise safety issues when

they arise.

• Plan, organise and schedule work activities to ensure Safety Advice are applied and followed.

• Ensure training is delivered in in affective manner.

• Ensure Assessments are conducted in a Fair, Repeatable, Flexible manner whilst

maintaining a positive learning environment and relationships.

• Ensure all work is delivered to the appropriate quality standard,

delivering consistent provision of quality customer service.

Change Management

• Champion organisational change strategies at a local level to trainees.

• Support, deployment and sustainment of local operational change.

• Initiatives and outcomes.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Encourage work team members to positively contribute to change to

contribute to improving team culture.

• Site Management

Responsible for ensuring planned site preparation activities set the

teams up for successful safe completion of work as planned, in

alignment with all business practices.

• Manage safety, fleet, maintenance and security procedures for the

work group to deliver all scheduled work.

• Provide emergency support to Field Services crews, e.g. over the phone emergency advice for generator connection or synchronising.

• Provide advice to in field crews when reqired.
