As a nitrates plant operator I was required to run all aspects of our 3 nitric acid manufacturing plants 2 ammonium nitrate plants , gas fired steam boiler and a reverse osmosis plant .

Duties included-

Running the plant from the process control room monitoring vessel proformance , temperatures , flow rates , production levels and output , product specifications and environmental compliance.

Monitoring of conveyors , screens , chutes etc .

Shutdown and maintenance planing .

Isolation of various parts of plant for maintenance while plant is running including Supervision of all maintenance work carried out on plant .
