Matthew Strachan

I'm a hard-working 21 year old Aussie travelling the world, searching for a fun, fast-paced summer job in one of the best parts of Canada. I have extensive experience in a wide range of fields, including several years of customer service experience and forklifting working at Australia's largest home hardware company. I developed a strong work ethic and thick skin working as an apprentice electrician for 2 years, working on several massive projects which forced me to learn to become efficient and plan work tasks out effectively, and to work under immense pressure. And I am currently working as a lifty for one of Canada's premier ski resorts, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, working to ensure the safe operations of the lifts and ensuring customers have a great experience on the mountain.

One of my greatest assets is my ability to fit into team environments which I attribute to my outgoing attitude and passion for connecting with people.
