I was a carpenter's assistant building residential & high end homes. This was mostly prefab steel frames, with some timber frames.

job includes:

- Marking out house on concrete slab

- Measure, and cut the required building materials accordingly

- Installation of trimmers, studs, joists, noggins

- Installation and cutting to size of flooring

- Read blueprints or other specifications to determine methods of installation & work procedures

- Use a wide variety of power tools

Installation of solar panels in commercial and residential construction, performed in a small team of 2 or 3 people.

Tasks included:

• Problem solving thinking
• Measure out roof and adjust layout wherever needed.
• Precision work; panels need to be aligned, roof must be leak-free,..
• Installation of rooftop framing system including feet, rail, DC cables and solar panels
• Assisting electrician to install domestic solar PV systems, including batteries

I've worked in the mechanical and module team, this to having a lot of experience in all sectors of the job.

• Torquing and marking everything that can be done on completed trackers.

• Adjusting all equipment to make it useable again. This was very precise work, because this piece of equipment would align all panels on tube.

Worked on different large scale solar farms all over Australia, as a Leading hand.

My job was to manage the module team, with up to 40people in our crew.

Tasks:

• Show new members how to install solar panels efficient, correct and SAFE!
• Give extra advice about housekeeping and tips to whoever needed it.
• Tell Team Leaders what area they will be working in and what the target is for that day.
• Provide materials to all teams
• Provide transport and water for each crew
• Help out panel crews with installing solar panels
• Correctly fix mistakes and clarify this to that team.
• Making sure there is good housekeeping
• Be able to work under limited supervision as well as in team
• If someone is absent, be able to redirect crews independently

During absence of my supervisor, I would do his tasks as well
