Reading, Patchwork and stitching, Cooking, Reading

I have always enjoyed being a homemaker for my husband and now grown four children.

I knit in winter every year, generally making a few garments. I have a passion for wool and have a serious collection of wool.

In summer I enjoy patchwork. This is something I would like to do weekly. I am a member of a small group of friends who meet several times annually at one of our homes. This is usually a three day event and endeavour to explore different techniques and create beautiful articles.

I enjoy cooking, especially when I have my children visiting with their children. We are lucky enough to have lovely neighbours we  meet regularly at one of our homes. This is a lovely way to use my cooking skills.

I love to read and do so daily. I mostly enjoy fiction, psychological thrillers are my favourite. I also keep abreast of current nursing practices.
