  • Lead the Disability Employment Services and Workforce Australia Ex Offenders specialist contracts and achieve performance, financial and quality targets
  • Oversee and manage the operations of the Employment Services division and advise the CEO on strategic direction through operational initiatives including the design and implementation of an effective operational platform for service delivery, investigation of potential business opportunities ad business development activities
  • Develop and implement the strategic Business Plan and associated action plans for BUSY Ability employment programs in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accreditations relevant to the contacts delivered: ISO27001 (Right Fit For Risk), ISO 9001, National Standard for Disability Services (NSDS), DEWR Quality Assurance Framework
  • Maintain high level stakeholders' relations with founding bodies, government and department representatives (Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Department of Social Services and QLD Corrective Services), CoAct and Partners, other providers program managers and community organisations
  • Develop and review annual budgets for Employment Services in consultation with the CEO, Employment Services Managers and the wider Executive Team and allocate costs to achieve performance and profitability
  • Develop and increase the reputation of BUSY Ability as a specialist provider of Employment Services via the development of targeted marketing plans and strategic community partnerships
  • Actively work with the WHS division to develop safe working practices related to the specific customers cohorts serviced
  • Manage and resolve complex industrial relations including mediation, liaising with legal counsel and the Fair Work Ombudsman.

  • Drive the need and benefit of social inclusion and integration of people with disability in the workforce with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a positive social impact and sustainable employment outcomes
  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of over 35 consultants in 3 different contracts to provide vocationally and educationally focussed services to clients with disabilities and social disadvantages and achieve open employment and social outcomes for our participants
  • Deliver 3 different contracts (DES, both DMS and ESS), NDIS, SQW, over multiple separate geographical locations and 4 ESAs
  • Develop and coach junior mangers in the daily operations of the business and IR
  • Set and manage KPIs for the team in order to achieve the contractual requirements agreed with Government Departments in the areas of performance, compliance, service delivery standards and contractual obligations
  • Manage the service delivery quality to meet standards requirements (National Standard for Disability Service (NSDS), ISO 9001, QAF -Quality Assurance Framework and RFFR - Right Fit For Risk)
  • Manage staffing allocation and recruitment, selection and training of new staff
  • Manage HR issues including performance management, conduct management and disciplinary actions when appropriate
