• Started and completed my apprenticeship, beginning as a school based apprentice, plus a couple of years out of my time working on a variety of building projects such as high end new builds, renovations, small home improvements, pubs and restaurants.
• Worked in all aspects of building a home from excavation and footings to door locks and everything in between
• Specialized in specific carpentry tasks such as framing, finish work, Formwork and cladding to provide clients with tailored services and high-quality results.
• Demonstrated close attention to detail to verify quality and accuracy of work.

• Working for Slate Property for a year we completed 8 different new builds, mainly being high end 2 storey homes.
• Jobs that I undertook involved framing, cladding, fix out and concreting.
• The main reason for me wanting to work here was to get my head fully around framing and tie down as I felt this was something I didn’t have much experience in.
• All these jobs demanded strict timelines which we would meet every time with our failure.

Zone 1 projects offered me a job as a leading hand carpenter, working on a high end multi million dollar home in Taringa. In this job we have done all the excavation, retaining walls (using Dincel) and Formwork for everything including suspended slabs. This has been a great experience working here as we do everything we can, trying to get as little sub contractors on the job as possible.
