Responsible for leading a team of electricians to provide a quality service to customers around the newcastle/ hunter region. Covering a wide variety of electrical including large commercial shed projects, Residential projects and industrial maintenance.

• Estimating, scheduling & invoicing
• Managing a small team of employees and contractors.
• Inspected electrical equipment and systems to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Manage electrical in small commercial shed projects.
• Mentor a variety of apprentices teaching in accordance with the current Australian standards and always keeping safety in the forefront of everyone's minds.

Fault Finding and System Diagnosis:
Diagnosed and troubleshot control systems for critical equipment, such as conveyor motors, hydraulic rams, and limit sensors. Ensured systems were running efficiently and identified potential failures before they caused breakdowns.

Electric Motor Testing and Maintenance:
Conducted testing and diagnosis on electric motors used in conveyors, vibrating motors, and hydraulic systems. Managed the repair and replacement of motors when necessary, ensuring minimal downtime for operations.

Hydraulic and Mechanical System Maintenance:
Worked with hydraulic rams and various mechanical components, including conveyors and vibrating equipment. Removed and replaced faulty components to maintain optimal functionality.

Emergency Stop Systems and Safety:
Performed regular checks and maintenance on emergency stop systems, ensuring they were operational at all times to guarantee safety on industrial sites.

Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:
Completed scheduled maintenance to keep machinery and equipment functioning at peak performance, minimizing unplanned downtime and ensuring safety protocols were followed.

Adaptability to Varied Work Requirements:
Gained experience in a wide variety of mechanical and electrical systems, working with different types of machinery, and ensuring smooth operation in diverse environments such as concrete plants, engineering sites, and workshops.

Responsible for Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring , equipment and fixtures in Residential, commercial and light industrial . All work done is in accordance with the current standards with safety always a high priority in any situation.

• Lead quality installations based on system design specifications,and repair faulty equipment.
• Install, repair and maintain residential electrical systems, including lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring.
• Provide mentoring to multiple apprentices by advising on safety procedures and strategies to maximise production and efficiency.
• Tracing, Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
• Carrying out new project work, design and installation.
• Interpreting work instructions, drawing and diagrams.
• Maintaining and repairing a wide variety of electrical equipment.
