Summary

I was a teacher for just on 30 years, experienced at working independently or as a team member to support students with special needs. I am well-versed in classroom and online technologies, am organized and dependable with a positive attitude. I am particularly dedicated to supporting a warm, safe classroom environment. I understand the importance of keeping students on-task to facilitate effective learning, while supporting their social/emotional needs. I particularly enjoyed working with students who were behaviourally challenged.

I have missed working with students since retirement and feel that my previous experience will enable me to take on the role of teacher aide and work successfully within the boundaries of that role.
