Summary

Proactive and dedicated, I leveraged my volunteering experience at Caloundra to develop strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills. I am keen about living an active and healthy life. To enhance this I take vitamin B, C and magnesium daily. I eat a well balanced diet and I enjoy going on bike rides and walking my dog in my spare time. I also enjoy dancing, playing netball and touch football. As well as these activities helping people is something that is truly important to me, and my volunteer experience has helped me become more eager to do so. Because I am seeking my first job I am eager to gain experience and learn new skills. I am motivated and open minded and love learning new things. I love baking and cooking dinner for my family once a week which has helped me gain my ability to try new things. I love looking after my animals and my family and friends weather it be at school or at home. I have an interest in food and nutrition at school, and at home we aim to live clean. I use natural products on my skin and hair. Currently I am thinking of a career in nutrition.

I would like a part time job where I can learn more in this area as well as be of service to your business.

VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE

- I have lots of experience volunteering throughout my life. From the age 10 to 14 (which is how old I am now) I have volunteering at many events.

- Sausage sizzles to rise money for school, netball and other causes.

- Volunteering in grade 5 with the preps to encourage no bullying, and kindness. This was every Thursday lunchtime for a term.

- Chappy Breakfasts, handing out free cereal and toast every Friday morning before school, starting at 7am in grade 5 and 6.

- Numerous beach clean ups along golden beach and cotton tree. I do this to help keep the planet clean and animals safe.

- Student council. In years 5 and 6 I was nominated by my peers as student council. every Friday lunchtime there was a student council meeting to talk about ways to improve the school, and raise money for facilities. As well as taking in other students ideas into account.

- Retirement Village. This Year at the beginning of the school term I volunteered at Lindsay Gardens located in Buderim with my school. We spent half a day there spending time with the elderly and talking about their days, and playing board games with them.

- Flinders Early Learning Centre. My school Matthew Flinders Anglican College has a program for children aged 2-3 to attend full days multiple times a week instead of Kindergarden. I volunteered here for half of a day, where I walked them, helped them practice their colours, spelling and reading and made sure they were eating and getting along with each other.
