Art Scholarship Port School. Health and Science scholarship Port School. CGEA Certificate.

Port School Annual Art Exhibition : As an exhibitor and participant in the annual art exhibition, I created art works for display and sale. I also assisted with setting up the exhibition, undertook public relations and stakeholder engagement and assisted with admin duties around the sales of artwork.

My Art and my Health Science Scholarship was awarded to me in 2022 in which i received $2500. I used that towards an ipad that enabled me to use the pro-create app and create more artwork and develop new skills.

Hobbies:

My hobbies other that creating art has centred around my love of music. I have studied piano from age 9 and currently play bass guitar in a band. I love writing stories and songs. Within my love for art, i enjoy various formats with a strong interest in cartooning and media. I love fashion and love creating bespoke items, studying trends, with a strong interest in theatrical and special effects makeup.

Comments made by my nominees:

"She is a bright, positive influence in the space for other students as she demonstrates commitment to the creation of art in all its diversity.  Whether she is drawing, sculpting with clay, or painting a skate deck with spray-paint her unique style shines through every time regardless of the creative medium.  This talented young artists work has strong meaning and her dialogue in class is always from the heart and thought provoking. Big things await this creative in her future and we look forward to seeing her flourish in years to come.

Master of Ceremonies

I was honoured to have been chosen to MC for Creative Schools at Government house in 2023. I felt passionately about the creativity invested into  young people at schools around our country and loved the opportunity to speak from my own experiences to both my peers and the public including the Major of Perth.

Humanitarian visit to Orphanage of special needs children in Malaysia

I was chosen through Port School and other charitable organisations to join in a visit to Kalang Malaysia and help out at the Orphanage with the most beautiful special needs children. We spent years raising money to take the school by means of art exhibitions and other fund raising events which i was involved in. This experience will be very hard to supercede as i gained so much in the two weeks spent with these children and would love to participate in something similar again in the future.
