About Me

I'm a proud Yorta Yorta young woman, just finished year 9 at Thornbury High School. I'm passionate about social justice in education, aiming to study law at university and pursue a career in politics to advocate for our community. My ultimate goal is to become the first Aboriginal Prime Minister of Australia. Outside academics, I prioritize a healthy mindset through regular sports.

Accomplishments

  • Average across this years tests and exams 91%.
  • Won consistent referrals and high marks for quality of instruction. Each semester, 10 students out of 200 in the year level are selected, then received with an award that reflects off their academic results. Every semester of my high-school, I have been asked to attend.
  • Year 9s year level leader
  • On the Student Representative Councils
  • Flew out to WA in funds of the Wirrapunda Foundation as I was selected to represent the state of Victoria as a Proud Aboriginal Girl to have a conference with other students from other states.

Sports Accomplishments

  • I have played Baketball for the past 8 years for the Melbourne Starts.
  • Recently just joined back at netball to play Wednesday nights with adults and mixed under 18s on Saturday.
  • Our mixed team made to the finals but unfortunate we lost from faulty mistakes.
  • Joined footy for a higher division, Division 1 where we mad it to the under 16s prelims. I had came 7th out of the NFNL's whole under 16s league for my efforts in the best and fairest awards.
  • Was requested to join Essendon Football Academy after they had watched games I had played.
  • Play netball at a compete level with Mixed under 18s, where these undergoes resilience and strength. While there's determination as being the youngest player to work harder and train harder.
  • Throughout these tea, skills,, I was able to develop resilience, team work and leadership which is what is needed to be shown in the world force.
