This role provided high-quality consolidated and standalone financial reporting and analytics to internal and external stakeholders to ensure all group reporting deliverables and compliance requirements are achieved.

• End-of-month journals that included loans (loan schedule and capital reimbursement amortization) and hedge accounting.
• Supported the delivery of consolidated results and reporting, including quarterly consolidated reporting packs (financial statements and analysis) for submission to the parent private equity company, Brookfield.
• Prepared local Australian statutory reporting (including consolidated accounts and trust structures).

The close review of the client's accounts and examination of financial statements. With a high level of knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards, analytical skills, and reporting skills. Closely worked with clients from the banking, capital, wealth management, and superannuation industries. Certain aspects of the financial statements that have specialized in:

• Property, Plant, and Equipment, and Intangibles
• Audit procedures over the fixed asset register, working closely with AASB 136, AASB 138, and AASB 116.
• Notable accounts have worked closely across all engagements: Interest and Fees, Provisions (AASB 137), Relative Effective Yield, and Account Payables.
• Software systems have been widely exposed to different accounting and management systems that include: Siebel, Oracle, and Blackline.

This position under the finance and operations department of Transaction and Support Management allowed me to perform tasks to support the daily operations in debt, unlisted, and equity assets.

• Debt: Identify and process cash trades for portfolios, setting up new assets in FIS VPM using trade tickets or Bloomberg, and viewing and posting trades in FX Connect.
• Unlisted: using custodian portals such as J.P. Morgan, Citibank, Westpac, BNP, QBE, and NCS will pay unlisted invoices from both treasury and custody accounts, internal transfers, and foreign exchange. Transactions, and after a transaction is completed, journal entries are entered into Investran Accounting.
• Equity: responsible for specific cash mandate reconciliations, identifying breaks and differences in internal and external reports, and adjusting interest for term deposits and bonds.
