● Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
● Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve the best resident outcomes
● Advocating and providing care for 60 residents at a time with 8 assistants in nursing staff.
● Providing employees on shift with clear direction and guidance for quality care.
● Liaising with manager, doctors, geriatric team, allied health and the family to arrange person centered care plans to support emotional, medical, physical needs of the residents.
● Identifying hazards, intervening them and planning for the quality improvement
● Recognizing resident's symptoms, taking measures within scope of practice to administer medications, providing other measures for symptom alleviation, and collaborating with other professionals to optimize resident's comfort; record their progress and evaluate the care plan.
● Answer questions and educate patients and families about treatments, care and health.
