I'm a 29-year-old who currently works as an Early Childhood Practitioner at Meli, a partner in the community with NDIS. I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, and a Certificate III in Education Support. I have worked in my current position at Meli for 18 months, supporting families with children aged 0-9 who access the NDIS scheme.
I previously worked in an early childhood setting for nine years, working with children aged 0 to 6. I have also worked at an American performing arts summer camp, working with children aged 6-12.
I believe I can offer the skills to guide children in developing their future success. I am successful in building strong relationships with children and families, expressing my caring nature, together with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards my job. I am a clear communicator within a team environment, and I show a willingness to learn. My personal interests include Pilates, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
I currently work in the Early Childhood Team, which supports children in finding the best-suited pathway for their developmental delays or concerns. I also support new and existing children aged 0-9 who access NDIS funding, and I support families through our Early Supports Program, funded by the NDIS.
