- Develop and maintain release schedule: Led the full lifecycle development and management of the Zoom Contact Center (ZCC) project, ensuring smooth transitions and aligning with business requirements. Managed hundreds of resources globally and delivered up to 2,000 tasks/bug fixes per quarter across different time zones.
- Risk and interdependency management: Identified and mitigated risks during the release lifecycle, including last-minute changes or image updates, ensuring timely delivery. Managed technical dependencies and forecasted risks, such as holiday conflicts with release checkpoints.
- Release coordination and stakeholder engagement: Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, PM, Design, Security, and Operations) to create comprehensive release plans, outlining scope, schedule, and resources. Coordinated deployments into key environments by ensuring correct packages were deployed across different clusters.
- Code readiness and quality assurance: Worked closely with development teams to assess the impact of code merges and ensure alignment on release readiness. Conducted release readiness reviews and quality assurance checks to uphold high standards. Collaborated with QA to analyze bug trends, delivery speed, and provide data-driven feedback for future improvements.
- Post-release stability and retrospective analysis: Conducted post-incident reviews to ensure platform stability, documented issues, and analyzed data across releases to continuously improve the release process. Utilized metrics such as bug fix rates and regression trends to optimize both speed and quality.
- Process automation and optimization: Leveraged Jira automation and Coda Pack to auto-send notifications and release checkpoint messages, significantly reducing manual workload and improving communication across teams. Continuously sought new ways to optimize the release process and improve overall efficiency.
- Agile methodologies and DevOps integration: Experienced in Agile delivery methodologies, with working knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD processes, and release management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Coda, and Google Sheets. Engaged in version control, change management, and collaborated with Ops teams to ensure compliance with DevOps practices.
- Cross-team communication and leadership: Led communications across multiple teams and time zones, hosting kick-offs, demos, and regular check-ins to ensure alignment. Coordinated efforts among large groups of participants, providing clear and concise updates throughout the release lifecycle.
