Project Description:

Conducted comprehensive flood frequency analysis in the Moree, Noosa, and Ipswich regions of Australia. The project aimed to gain insights into hydrological dynamics and provide data-driven flood management recommendations for these areas through the application of the Log-Pearson Type III Distribution method.

Responsibilities and Achievements:

• Identified hydrometric stations and extracted diverse datasets.
• Utilized statistical and data analysis methods, such as Log-Pearson Type III Distribution, to analyze flood frequency.
• Discovered disparities in flood frequency dynamics across different regions and proposed tailored flood risk management strategies.

Outcomes:

• Evaluated flood frequency analysis methods by comparing natural data with Log-Pearson Type III Distribution results.
• Seized the opportunity to master data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis and data modeling, preparing for future data-driven projects.

• Cleaning and sanitizing Linglong Academy.
• Training to use equipment, wiping and operating the equipment at Linglong Academy.
• Logging sanitation procedures on daily reports.
• Following proper general safety and security procedures and standards.
• Ensuring shelves are fully stocked with equipment.
• Using computers and smartphone devices to work efficiently and listing items online to ensure the amount of equipment.

• Assist teachers with various tasks, like grading assignments and informing parents of their children’s progress.
• Track student attendance and class schedules, and provide individualized tutorials for students.
• Take the place of the teacher in their absence.
• Supervise children during play or lunch.
• Focused on creating lesson plans, preparing materials for classrooms, and assisting with remedial teaching.
• Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process.
