I believe that everyone needs to know how much God loves them. When they know this they will want to share that love with others. This is how the Kingdom of God advances. My strengths lie in organising teams to reach out into the local Community, in discipling people to grow in their understanding of who God is and how much he loves them; and in teaching them ways, through preaching and example, how to share their faith.
Since I stepped back from full-time ministry to focus on raising my children I have been actively involved in church as a lay member. At Grace Wamberal, I was on the broader leadership team, I preached 3-4 times a year, and was on the prayer team. Since moving to the Sunshine Coast, I have been involved in leading Connect Groups and have been on prayer teams.
My whole life is one of outreach. Whether in formalised settings or informal, I am always looking for ways to meet people in the community so that through relationship they can come to know the love of our Saviour and dedicate their lives to him.
Provided support to staff caring for elderly people by organising their schedules.
Listened to the needs of the elderly and worked to get them the best possible assistance.
New Creations was started as an opportunity to make connections with people in Nambour.
During my time running New Creations I was able to form friendships with local business owners.
I built relationships with customers through repeat business and through craft classes.
These relationships gave me the opportunity to share the Gospel with people who didn't know anyone else who was a Christian.
During this time I also started a small prayer group for local Christian business owners.
We would meet 8-8:30 Monday mornings and pray for Nambour.
Stu White was also a regular attender of the prayer group.
Organised and led outreach programs.
Discipled young leaders, helping them to grow in their gifts and confidence and to take on leadership positions.
Discipled young Christians, helping them to grow in their faith.
Preached at other churches as well, encouraging people to be involved in outreach and teaching them how to share the Gospel in the community.
Pastorally cared for church members.
