Utilising advanced technology, we provide medication management and support to optimise health outcomes, making us a trusted partner for the Residents in care - servicing 2800 patients (approximately 26 aged care nursing homes) from Bunbury to Joondalup.
  • Dispensing medications accurately using FRED software + eNRMC (Electronic national residential medication charts) + escripts
  • Charting, checking and processing daily medication changes as issued by prescribers applying proficiency in current drug use to enhance patient care and uphold high standards of professional practice
  • Responsible for a load >550 patients (looking after 5-7 facilities at a time)
  • Working in collaboration with GPs, Hospitals, Specialists and Geriatricians to ensure positive patient health/medication need met
  • Utilising electronic charting/prescription softwares; Medisphere, Bestmed, Healthstream
  • Providing a 24/7 emergency telephone weekday & weekend medication supply service to Care facilities - rostered on 8am to 8pm some weeks and overnight from 8pm to 8am (take the work phone home)
  • Training, supporting and supervising staff across various departments of the pharmacy and attending Facility Medication Advisory Meetings
