Summary

With over 20 years’ experience working in business support, office administration and program management roles within government and non-government agencies, I am confident with delivering services, maintaining business continuity, managing systems and people performance, analysing and reporting on activity and data, brokering solutions and working under tight time fames to meet Ministerial and Departmental expectations. This experience has exposed me to a variety of service activities and developed my confidence to engage with a diverse range of multi-disciplinary stakeholders, including adult and child service consumers, disability services providers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and culturally and linguistic diverse communities. I particularly enjoy working in direct service with communities and client groups as there is huge scope to make a real difference to people’s lives. I enjoy and am capable of learning new systems and processes and am flexible and agile – evidenced by successfully transitioning from using commonwealth business systems back to state-based systems. I take direction well, am open to feedback and show initiative so I can best support my peers and senior executives to achieve better outcomes for our clients and stakeholders. I have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and genuinely enjoy working as part of a team and for organisations delivering important community services. I am actively seeking opportunities to continue working within Queensland government. I thrive on delivering high quality work and bring a positive attitude, practicality, energy and commitment. I am focused on communication, diversity, valuing and supporting others. I have a natural leadership style and raise the moral of my workplace through positivity, performance and leading by example.
