\Provide high quality x-rays for inpatient, emergency and outpatient services using Siemen’s x-ray equipment and Shimadzu mobile units

• Competent in Cerner RIS, PACS and ieMR applications and administrative tasks
• Perform CT examinations including advanced scans: cardiac, stroke perfusion scans, angiograms and venograms using Siemen’s and Philips systems with key skills in Syngo Via applications
• Intraoperative Fluoroscopy: orthopedics- upper and lower limb complex trauma, general surgery, bronchoscopy, urology and ERCP using Philips, Ziehm and GE image intensifiers
• Thorough knowledge of Siemen’s O-arm for spinal and neurology cases
• Compliance and advocate of strict radiation hygiene and safety for all examinations
• Closely supervise and provide feedback to students and junior graduates across modalities
• Participates in continuous shift work roster with clinical decision making expectations with on shift radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
• Adherence to QLD Health policies, procedures, ethical standards and codes of conduct
• Assisted in the training of new staff members on department policies, procedures, and equipment operation to maintain high standards of care within the team.
• Ensured patient safety with strict adherence to radiation protection protocols during all imaging procedures.

• Provide high quality x-rays for inpatient, emergency and outpatient services using Phillips and Siemen’s x-ray equipment including modified techniques and Shimadzu mobile units
• Competent in Karisma RIS, Inteleviewer and Agfa IMPAX PACS, ieMR applications
• Perform CT examinations: cardiac, stroke and perfusion scans, angiograms and venograms using Siemen’s and GE Healthcare systems independently with key skills in Syngio Via apps
• Undertakes QA tasks including service maintenance, dose audits, work unit guidelines
• Intraoperative Fluoroscopy: orthopedics, general surgery, bronchoscopy, cardiac biopsy using Philips and GE image intensifiers
• Participate in in-service learning, quality assurance checking and new installation x-ray procedures
• Closely supervise and provide feedback to students and junior graduates across modalities
• Review physician medical imaging orders and determine appropriate protocolling out of hours in line with department policies and guidelines
• Participates in continuous shift work roster with clinical decision making expectations with outsource nightshift reporting
• Digital fluoroscopy performing Barium swallows, sniff tests, peripheral line insertions

• Experience with a diverse range of patients: trauma, paediatrics, geriatrics, Indigenous, Damascus (drug, rehab and vulnerable persons)
• Performs complex CT examinations: cardiac, trauma, stroke and perfusion scans, angiograms and venograms, dual energy work ups, interventional procedures
• Confident in intravenous cannulation and medical imaging nursing duties
• Handled emergency situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery of critical images for urgent diagnoses and treatment delivery
• Comprehensive intra operative imaging: orthopaedic, general abdominal, vascular, ERCP, spinal and neurology including use of O-arm intraoperative CT
• Intraoperative GE OEC Elite Miniview C-arm: orthopaedic cases- upper and lower limb
• Provides high quality x-rays for both hospital emergency and outpatient services using Phillips Carestream systems including modified techniques
• Perform mobile imaging throughout ICU, PICU, NICU general and children’s wards, mental health wards and higher security patients
• Experience and trained in imaging COVID exposed and positive patients: highly competent in donning and doffing PPE and maintaining high levels of infection control
• Works well independently to participate fully in 24 hour rotating roster: night shifts, on call, evenings, day and weekend duties

• Provide high quality plain film x-rays using shimadzu digital units, mobile x-ray units and AGFA systems including specialist requests for surgical planning and additional views
• CT diagnostic and interventional procedures using Toshiba and Siemens platforms, including safe contrast administration and cannulation
• Extensive intraoperative imaging: spinal, neurology, urology, orthopaedic, pain clinic cases
• Intraoperative CT scanning with BodyTom scanner and Siemen’s O-Arm unit
• Intraoperative GE OEC Elite Miniview C-arm: orthopaedic cases- upper and lower limb
• Diagnostic Fluoroscopy: Discograms, Barium/Gastrograffin swallows, joint arthrograms, nerve blocks and ablations, HSG, PICC line insertions
• Dental imaging: OPG, lateral cephalograms, dental CT
• Completing annual quality assurance testing including CT dose monitoring and lead gown screening
