Deakin Talent, FreelancingHUB

From March to May 2025, I participated in Deakin Talents FreelancingHUB program. During this time, I collaborated with eight other students, a project manager and senior intern on a not-for-profit project, collecting data about sustainable textile practises and recommending potential clients to Katrina Naish, owner of A Fitting Connection. My role within this team was client liaison, whereby, I was in direct contact with Katrina, updating her on our teams progress through, organising meetings and providing information to the team from the client. This role worked hand in hand with researching and organising potential clients that Katrina could potentially approach through her business. At the end of our program, myself and three other students presented our findings and recommendations to our client Katrina and to the whole of the Deakin Talent and FreelancingHUB teams.
