Summary

I am a dedicated and experienced art educator with a strong background in fostering creative and artistic expression among students. In my various roles, I prioritised creating supportive and inclusive environments where young people have felt safe and empowered. Years of experience honed my skills in curriculum development, implementation, and classroom management. However, my time as an educator fed a deep concern for the mental health and well-being of our youth. This led to furthering my studies in creative arts therapies and taking a position as a youth worker. My goal is to utilise my teaching experience and newfound focus on creative arts therapies to positively impact the lives of young people, nurturing their mental health and fostering a sense of resilience and self-discovery.
