Summary

I am skilled in Payroll and Accounts payable/receivable roles with in the meat industry. From beginning in the role of accounts receivable for seven years before moving up to the role of accounts payable and finally adding the payroll to my accounts payable role from 2020.

I use the accounting system Attache` on a daily basis for these roles along with Synerion & Foodchain.

I have worked with my current employer for over 14 years. And over those years have gained experience in payroll and both sides of the accounts roles as well as little bits and pieces of other positions at this company whether it is reception work or helping the HR manager with tasks when needed.

I am very efficient with my work I like to structure my daily/weekly tasks in a way that ensures they are completed on time. I have also gained team work and customer service skills from my five years at KFC prior to my current position

Work History

Payroll & Accounts Payable/Receivable

  • Began at the company in the role of accounts receivable before being promoted to accounts payable and since 2020 have added the role of payroll manager to my weekly task along with the accounts payable role.
  • I Collaborate closely with HR as part of the payroll role to collect accurate data on employee weekly deductions and other adjustments.
  • Manage the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls meeting weekly deadlines.
  • Resolved complex payroll issues promptly, maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction.
  • Complete month end tasks such as payroll tax, superannuation & child support payments
  • Data Entry - Supplier invoices/Customer invoices entered into Attaché
  • Payments - Enter/Allocate customer payments/Organise weekly supplier payments via the Attaché software system
  • Chase outstanding customer accounts or/and short payments
  • Reconcile supplier monthly statements
  • Deposit Daily Cash/cheques at the bank, pick up daily mail and pay any bills at Post Office
  • Teaching fellow or new co-workers in those roles as backups for when employees take any leave in any of those three roles or when previous employee leaves role.

• Cleaning the restaurant when needed (in between serving customers)
