I am a motivated and dependable individual with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. I thrive in structured environments, take initiative when needed, and adapt quickly to new tasks and challenges. I am known for my strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. I take pride in delivering quality work and contributing positively to any team I am part of.
Once a week, I volunteer for a four-hour shift at Perth Children’s Hospital. This role is incredibly meaningful to me, as it allows me to give back to the community while bringing warmth, joy, and comfort to children and their families during what can be very difficult times.
In my rewarding role with children, I create enjoyable activities, ensure a safe and cozy environment, and build heartwarming connections. My friendly approach, adaptability, and grasp of child development made each day a joyous adventure.
During my time at Woolworths, I interacted with various customers each day, refined my customer service techniques, and enhanced my verbal communication skills through consistent customer engagement. I gained cultivated teamwork and interpersonal abilities that are useful in future employment. This job overall improved my problem-solving skills by managing customer interactions and feedback.
As a team member, I was constantly dealing with customers and solving any issues or misunderstandings. This helped me grow confidence in speaking to strangers and quick, practical thinking. I loved working in fast-paced environments because they always kept me busy and occupied.
I started a small chair rental business in December 2020, when I was fifteen. I hired out white Americana chairs, trestle tables, and tablecloths. I only started with 24 chairs, and as I made profit, I invested into the business. We currently have 200 chairs and over 20 tables. I no longer handle this business, but it's still active, with my parents running it.
