• Working with the Operations Manager, Site Supervisors, and finance manager to analyse and identify purchasing requirements
• Generating purchase orders for products, supplies, tools, equipment, and consumables and services
• Maintain and revise safety stock level, order frequency, order quantity and modes of delivery to optimize inventory level and availability of components
• Conducting regular factory/warehouse inventory audits and investigating any discrepancies
• Coordinating transportation and shipping logistics for incoming goods
• Evaluating supplier performance and conducting regular supplier assessments
• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and establishing supplier relationships
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and service level agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply
• Liaising with Accounts Payable to resolve any pricing, receipting and payment term discrepancies
• Producing supplier spend reports to identify cost savings opportunities or improvements to the supply chain
• Work with the production scheduler to forecast requirements
• ERP- maintain and own the inventory module in EXO
• Fleet management including monitoring all company's vehicles, fuel cards, toll E-tags, registration, etc. to track all the monthly costs and report to the finance manager.

Reporting to the Financial Controller through:

• Being responsible for managing inventory, stock, ordering, purchasing, and finance duties in Cin7 and 3PL platforms
• Purchasing and ordering stocks with the suppliers on a daily/weekly schedule based on the sales forecast and as directed by the Financial Controller
• Liaising with suppliers and couriers to receive competitive prices and quotes
• Liaising with 3PLs in Australia, Netherlands, and USA such as Supply Chain Solutions
• Managing the reconciliation of suppliers and 3PL invoices against purchase order numbers to ensure that costings are correct and controlling supplier's credit notes
• Creating and managing various daily/weekly reports such as, "Supplier's outstanding payment master file", "Supplier's outstanding breakdown file for the purpose of cash flow", "Inbound stock ETA for AUS, EUR, and USA", "freight records, supplier price lists, and orders sheets"
• Updating, raising, and receipting purchase orders, along with performing queries on unmatched invoices & purchase orders.

Reasons for leaving : 6 months contract.

Carrying out the entire end-to-end supply chain processes including:

• Managing and analysing inventory levels by historical forecasting in SAP ERP and placing purchase orders for requested materials to HQ in Germany
• Collaborating with the head of finance APAC side-by-side in order to keep the level of inventory at the optimum level.
• Placing and monitoring orders for Field Service Technicians (FSE) across Australia to deliver the right product, in the right quantity to the right place at the right time.
• Maintaining and optimizing logistics processes and liaising with 3PL vendors on both outbound and inbound international and domestic shipments such as 3PLs TNT, DHL, Agility and Crane Logistics
• Managing and processing faulty/redundant/obsolete service/sales stocks and inverters to be sent back to Germany HQ monthly.
• Creating purchase order (PO) numbers, delivery numbers (DN), commercial/proforma invoices, manufacturing declaration documents, packing lists, and VGM documents for pallets towards HQ in Germany as well as custom clearance purposes

Achievements:

• Managing, processing, and shipping 19 (40ft) containers including faulty and redundant/obsolete stocks accounting for $9,793,362.24M back to HQ in Germany in 2019 & 2020.
• Being able to reduce the total value of service faulty and redundant stocks from $ 10,018,255.34 M to $911,170.25

Supporting the implementation of a Time Slotting pilot project across Melbourne metro sites through:

• onboarding vendors supplying Melbourne metro stores onto the C3 Solutions online portal and optimizing dock scheduling for all Melbourne Metro stores and warehouses with the aid of the C3 Solutions online portal

Achievements:

• Being able to onboard nearly 300 vendors on the C3 Time Slotting pilot project accounting for ~80% of Melbourne metro stores and warehouses into the C3 Solutions portal.
