Mia Kellner

I help out at my parents tattoo studio from time to time. While I am there I engage in such tasks as :

Cleaning and disinfecting the floors and chairs in the high traffic areas of the studio. This includes sweeping, mopping and sanitizing surfaces.

Removing trash, debris and other waste materials from premises.

I also helped to renovate the studio during refurbishment, doing such things as wall painting and helping to install wall coverings.

Played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children.

Help settle them for daytime naps.

Plan and make age appropriate and healthy snacks and lunch.

Organized and cleaned play areas after activities by picking up toys and wiping down surfaces.

Maintained a clean and organized environment for the children.

During my time volunteering over the summer holidays at the kindergarten I was required to assist the educators prepare for certain activities for the children, such as setting up the paint station.

I also read to the children, helped settle them down for their daytime naps and assisted in cleaning up at the end of messy play and at the end of the day.
