The Exit 49 project consisted of new and upgraded north and south on and off ramps of the M1, 5 signaled intersection constructions, 2 roundabouts into a T intersection, and a 4-way intersection. Over 60,000 vehicle movements occur daily in the construction area of the project. Completion of the 3-lane overpass of the M1 Motorway, which has 260,000 vehicle movements.
The key role was to assist the project management team within time, budget, and safety to achieve completion of the project in the period of 6 months. The result for the project team and client has been to open the project sections with no significant delay to traffic.
Sydney Gateway project involves the construction of a direct connection to Sydney Airport from WestConnex via new exits from the M8 and the M4-M8 Link. With over 5 kilometers of new roads and 19 new bridge connections around Tempe and Mascot, Sydney Gateway increased the capacity for 100,000 vehicles and 10,000 trucks per day in Mascot, Alexandria, and Port Botany.
The key role included management of the construction project to ensure time and budget constraints, including advancing the safety and environmental culture. Management of supervisors, distribution of plant and equipment across the project. Liaising with senior management and senior client staff to ensure relationship building. Ensuring successful completion of major areas of the project prior to the project end date.
TOBCO is a civil and electrical engineering contractor working throughout Australia. TOBCO has a team of tradespeople, operators, and supervisors, as well as an expansive fleet of plant equipment.
The key role was to enhance the overall business approach to staff and fleet management. To ensure that the plant, equipment, and personnel are operating in the most effective way to achieve optimization for the company. The purchase and sale of plant and equipment, for the overall success of the business, was a key component of the role.
Newmont Tanami is located in the remote Tanami Desert in the Northern Territory, 540km from Alice Springs.
The main scope of TE2 involves the construction of a headframe and vertical hoisting shaft to a depth of 1,460m, which will be used to transport people and ore.
The key role was to supervise all works as well coordinate planning, plant, equipment and personnel. Supervision and adherence to safety, environmental and cultural heritage legislation was also a key part of this project and role.
The Yarwun alumina facility is located 10km north-west of Gladstone in Central Queensland. The project consisted of the upgrade of the current tailings dams and included the movement of bulk material including spoil and the construction of an increased dam wall. Works is being undertaken simultaneously during current production delivering a complex and challenging project.
The key role for this project was to assist the Superintendent to manage all aspects of the daily work schedules including supervision of personnel, client liaison and program and forecasting. Bulk movement of material and selection of plant and equipment is a key component of the project and was a key component for the role.
The Toowoomba Second Range Crossing Project is a 41km road bypass to the north of Toowoomba, Queensland. The key features of the road design include grade-separated interchanges at Warrego Highway west, Warrego Highway east, Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Road, and the Gore Highway. The bypass included an 800m long viaduct built over the existing Queensland rail line; 5,000,000m3 of cut to fill, which includes 1,400,000m3 of drill and blast.
The key role was the supervision of a major section of the project - the Warrego Highway interchange to the Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road interchange. Supervision included all civil and structural work, including material selection and movement, plant and equipment selection, remediation, environmental controls, and landscaping.
Civil construction management and consulting, including plant hire and equipment, selection of plant and personnel, and management of materials.

The Nammuldi Below Water Table Project consisted of the construction of an Earth Dam, heavy haul roads, light vehicle roads, 300,000m3 of excavated materials, 690,000m3 of drill and blast, 700 lineal meters of culverts, and installation of stacker beams and rail.
