• Keep associates informed of company news and line issues through daily meetings.
• Promote continuous improvement activities within areas of responsibility.
• Manage absenteeism and PDO's within the team.
• Manage associate discipline.
• Keep training materials up to date and provide training where needed to develop skills of the team.
• Maintain and update team training matrix.

Safety

• Ensure all associates have been trained in all safety aspects in accordance with DENSO's Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
• Ensure associates follow correct safety procedures at all times, this includes PPE, dangerous goods, 5s and correct disposal of waste.
• To make sure the safety of the associate is a priority at all times.

Quality

• Report and prepare countermeasures for any out of target items at monthly department meetings.
• Ensure the product is of the highest quality and that all associates are trained in all aspects of quality and process control which relates to their work area.
• Ensure that associates strictly adhere to the quality and process standards, key point items and operation manuals for their work area.
• Develop, revising and superseding operation manuals as required.
• Ensure all first offs and daily checks have been done.
• Promote and follow through with Team leader round activities.

• Take deliveries, registration of stock into computer, price and stock shelves.
• Customer service, sales, returns, cashing up till at the end of the day.
• Opening and closing of shop, delegation of work and train junior workers.
• Set up displays and shop windows.
• Keep store clean and tidy.
• Deal with sales representatives.
