  • Reviewed medical records to determine exercise precautions and contra-indications prior to client visit.
  • Assessed, Prescribed and Delivered exercise guidance to clients according to range of conditions which include but not limited to cardiorespiratory, cancer-related, metabolic, musculoskeletal, mental health and other major health crises and working towards their specific goals.
  • Collaborated closely with other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Monitored patient blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, rate of perceived exertion and distress levels during exercise.

  • Contributed to establishing novel exercise physiology services at Southern Cross Care Chinchilla and Miles acting as the first exercise physiology student at the site
  • Assessed, Prescribed and Delivered exercise guidance to clients particularly related to a geriatric population which included conditions such as osteoarthritis, dementia, diabetes, stroke, cardiorespiratory and others
  • Monitored patient blood pressure, heart rate, SpO2, rate of perceived exertion and distress levels during exercise.
