Began refit to vessel Westmore.

We began with density survey for fisheries and Tasmania seafoods and then collected broodstock for aquaculture farm. They were focused on restocking the areas once famous for holding large numbers.

Between surveys we harvested from Coburg peninsula to Groote Eylandt. The trepang were cooked and processed and frozen.

Same regular duties and responsibilities were performed running the boat and to the vessels safety management system and operating procedures.

Extra work was maintained to the dive platforms we were using on top of the normal vessel requirements.

Another vessel in the live trout industry as the Arafura Queen, only this vessel was larger, and we had to travel 3 times further out to the swains reefs.

The duties, policies, work in general are very much the same on all fishing vessels. Its only the industry your fishing for is the difference. And then the finer points and details like wood needs different practice to steel for example etc.
