Set up Wholesale and Retail Tile Showroom in Fortitude Valley.

I am responsible for the day to day running of the business. This incorporates the following:

Originally the importing of containers of tiles from overseas. This incorporated the ordering, organising the packing, organising the importing into Brisbane and transport and unloading and inventoring into our warehouse.

This was done from 2000 - 2013.

At the same time and currently I have been in charge of the full retail showroom in the Emporium precinct in Fortitude Valley. I have had up to 10 staff including Sales Managers on the road, Sales personal in the showroom and receptionists.

I have personally participated in the retail aspect, talking with the customers, designing tiles for all aspects of domestic and commercial building and selection of tiles and stone.

I do all the quotations, negotiating and invoicing for all the retail clients.

I also deal with importers ordering the stone and tiles for the retail customers.

I organise all the freight to building sites.

I also organise the collection of payment of invoices from the customers and deal with the payment to importers for the purchase of stock.

Over the years I have built and deployed operational procedures, training programs and administrative systems to handle all the retail needs.

I have also employed prompt decision making and in depth research to resolve issues and problem solve.

I have been an am highly self motivated and have created a very long and successful business
