• Late 2014 i first got exposure to the relief supervising role filling in for the mine services supervisor when they went on annual leave .Over the next 4 years i gradually moved into a more permanent role in the relief supervisors position as my supervisor was being used for other positions within the business .2020 to current has pretty much seen me in a permanent secondment as a mine services supervisor over my time my skill set in this role has developed im extremely passionate about the work mine services do especially the rehab. As a supervisor my people and there health and safety is my number one priority .Im extremely passionate about mentoring my people and developing there skill sets and creating a work environment where my people are encouraged to work together as a team and feel empowered to raise concerns and stop jobs if they feel its unsafe.
• I have completed all the leader ship fundamentals training.
• Schedule 26 training has been completed with the schedule 26 exam booked for late july.

I commenced work with worsley alumina in 1989 on a 3 month trial then in february 1990 i commenced full time at worsley I originally started out with production operating dump trucks after 12 months i was trained up on dozers and loaders both working in a production environment . About 1993 a opportunity presented to join the newly formed mine development crew this role involved scraper operations stripping gravel and topsoil and doing rehab along with scrapers i was exposed to dozers doing rehab earth works and production bench prep its safe to say this role is where i found something i was extremely passionate about and to this day i still enjoy the challenges and rewards of the mine development work. As the mine development role has expanded i have had exposure to small loaders doing clearing and burning work and blast drill prep. I feel my work and work ethic is always to the highest standard

• Ensured environmental compliance by following regulations for dust control, water management

• Followed safety guides and signals to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Checked machinery for safety, protecting personnel, and equipment from harm.
