As a referee, your main priority is to ensure that both teams are able to play a fair, safe and enjoyable match. This is achieved by a strong, fair and consistent enforcement of the laws of the game. Furthermore, a referee must have good communication skills, fair judgement, quick thinking and be able to quickly analyze what has occurred so the right decision may be arrived at.
The referees for this competition have been hand-selected due to them consistently exhibiting a high standard of match control, knowledge of the laws of the game and excellent communication skills.
This position is the same as any normal referee position, apart from the fact that the teams playing are part of an academy such as Juventus and Villarreal. This, in turn, means that the match is of a higher quality requiring the referee to equal that standard.
I have taken music lessons for the piano for over ten years, from 2010-2023. During this time, I have successfully completed the AMEB exams for grades 1 through 8, receiving a pass with honours on three occasions.
I am a member of the men's choir at my Catholic Church. This includes weekly commitments of at least one practice and one to two liturgies which the choir will sing at.
Woodwork. Over the last few months, I have made a variety of hand-made objects including picture frames and boxes for valuable possessions.
Music. I am very passionate about music, both singing and piano.
Soccer. As well as being a soccer referee, I have also played at a club level for twelve years. My achievements in this area include being selected for the first division team in under 15s and being announced as team captain in several of the years I have played.
