As a Consultant at Coras, I specialize in engineering service delivery for defence sector clients.

My first engagement spanned 13 months, during which I served as a Systems Engineer for the SEA1910 project:

• Contributed to the remediation of system and stakeholder requirements.
• Leveraged DOORS software tool to ensure traceability across all system baselines.
• Developed a comprehensive suite of technical documents to support the engineering team’s objectives.

In my current engagement, I am fulfilling dual responsibilities for the DDGSPO Combat System Enhancement Upgrade:

• Acting as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Coordinator.
• Serving as a Design Acceptance Representative (DAR).
• Coordinating logistics processes and ensuring compliance with design acceptance standards to support the successful delivery of this critical upgrade.

• Develop and deliver various ILS artifacts such as FMECA, RCM, LSAR, PMD, technical publications, and training materials to support engineering changes and associated documentation
• Provide crucial support to the engineering team in delivering engineering changes and associated documentation
• Conduct spares analysis and manage obsolescence to ensure equipment is efficiently maintained and operational
• Lead discussions with the Commonwealth (CoA) regarding ILS and logistics engineering activities to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Author and maintain ILS management plans and processes to ensure optimal system performance and maintenance
• Conduct engineering system reviews and through-life supportability for the AOR platform to identify and resolve issues

• Configure, maintain, operate and integrate various I.T Systems for use in synthetic collective activities as prescribed by the client organization
• Coordinate the integration of data protocols between various simulators
• Liaise with foreign training agencies, Army, Air-force and Navy personnel, and coalition partners
• Undertake troubleshooting measures for I.T and simulation issues using various diagnostic software tools
• Develop solution designs, process maps, and supporting documentation for systems integration configurations
• Conduct test directing during synthetic training exercises to coordinate test objectives, training outcomes and report system performance to key stakeholders
• Manage Government Furnished Materials (GFM) in accordance with CoA requirements
• Promote I.T
• Service Management methodologies including ITIL, to improve workplace practices and conformance to industry standards
• Manage stakeholder expectations and perceptions through open communication and seeking feedback
• Mentor and provide on the job training for junior technicians

• Create and manage User accounts on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Operating systems
• Automate I.T systems using Wake on LAN, Bash and Powershell scripting
• Perform routine backups of I.T systems using FOG and Windows Bare Metal Recovery tools
• Build games and training scenarios within a simulated training environment to the requirements of the Principal Warfare training audience (TAMW)
• Implement hardware and software security measures for ICT and Cyber security accreditation compliance
• Author technical documentation to showcase processes, improve user help guides and articulate complex information in simple terms
• Critically analyse problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions to improve system interoperability and performance
• Create test plans and communicate deadlines to all stakeholders to ensure objectives are completed on time

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities on combat management systems, hydraulics, radar systems, CCTV systems, and communications equipment, to ensure their reliable and safe operation
• Troubleshoot complex electronic issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
• Risk assess equipment defects against system capabilities, and raise urgent defect reports for external repair agent assistance as required
• Repair circuit boards using soldering techniques to remove faulty electronic components
• Align maintenance activities to command priorities to achieve time critical deadlines
• Liaise with Foreign Military personnel during international deployments, whilst adhering to Australian security policies
