Michael Kent Setiadi

I am a final-year Bachelor of Media Communications student at Monash University who specializes in Public Relations. I have an interest in filmmaking and video editing. I have worked on multiple projects for my degree from audio podcasts, short documentaries, and video interviews. I enjoy working individually and collaboratively and am confident in my adaptability and multitasking capabilities.

• [ATS2186] Individual Audio Podcast Topic (Movement)- Create a fictional audio podcast (5-6mins) that engages the audience through the professional use of audio production techniques. The project had me write the script, research SFX, and do the voice acting on the project.
• [ATS2187] Collaborative Video Lab Project - Create a fictional advertisement of a specific topic. I became the director of the project and wrote the script, edited a section of the video, created 2 separate short 1 one-minute versions of the video to be published on social media, assisted with the camera work using a professional film camera, and operated the audio equipment.
• [ATS1090] Create a Feature Story - Create a feature story of a topic of choosing (bullying) and write a 600-word cover story. The project allowed me to write my own feature story which also required further background research and networking/meeting people with experience regarding the topic and conducting a short interview.
