My key responsibilities are:

  • Work collaboratively with and support staff across the Arts and Cultural Development department to delivery major art events and projects.
  • Provide administrative support to committees including but not limited to agenda preparation, minute taking and coordination of meetings.
  • Assist with structuring and preparing Council documentation including reports for Council meetings, briefing papers, presentations and other communications and correspondence by researching and analysing information and using high level computer skills.

Executive Assistant Racing Integrity Commissioner

The office of the Racing Integrity Commissioner provides independent oversight of integrity issues across all three racing codes to hear integrity related complaints with the Victorian racing industry. My key responsibilities were:

  • Provide executive and administrative support to the Racing integrity Commissioner including diary management and organisation of travel arrangements, document management, filtering enquiries and emails and the preparation of presentations.
  • Undertake consultation and liaison to gather information, statistics and views on identified issues, providing analysis and interpretation, provide related reports and recommendations.
  • Preparation and co-ordination of correspondence and briefings and ensure timely responses through the Commissioner’s Office, monitoring and reporting using an electronic records management system and following up outstanding replies.
  • Liaise with Minister’s Office, enforcement agencies, racing industry controlling bodies and other stakeholders on sensitive and confidential matters, providing advice, information and assistance.
  • Co-ordinate annual Roadshows that took the Commissioner around the State engaging with the racing industry to discuss issues and concerns within the industry.
  • Undertake a range of projects including researching, preparing preliminary briefing papers, and drafting correspondence.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the Commissioner’s Office including telephone duties, meeting management, preparation and distribution of papers, minute taking and co-ordination of resource allocation.
  • Undertake file management and financial reporting duties.

  • Co-ordinate the set up of meetings including room bookings, catering and the distribution of appropriate papers.
  • Liaise with AFL Club contacts including Club CEO’s, Football Managers, AFL Doctors and other stakeholders on sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Event Management including hosting a function room with over 350 guests on Grand Final Day.
  • Follow through on personal requests as made by General Manager, Football Operations.
