Summary

With nearly 15 years career in social care, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals facing mental health issues, trauma, and disabilities. From August 2009 to May 2010, I worked at Micah Projects’ Resident Support program, providing personal care at hostels and enhancing the social experiences and quality of life of those I supported.

In June 2010, I embarked on a new journey with Lotus Place, where I served as an Information & Resource Worker for 14 years. As a committed professional, I contributed to a vital cause, providing healing and empowerment for adult survivors of childhood abuse in institutional settings, including out-of-home care and Former Child Migrants. I was dedicated to creating a safe space where survivors could access support and find their way toward healing. My role involved daily interactions with Forgotten Australians, demonstrating compassion, resilience, and advocacy.

Throughout my career, I have been driven by my commitment to improving the lives of those I support. I bring to each role a combination of skills, experience, and a deep passion for social care. I am eager to continue making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and the community.
