Investigate the characteristic and effectiveness of the polymer insulators that are to be used as a test case in the Powercor power distribution network. Perform tests on Enhanced Silicone Polymer (ESP) 33kV insulators and 33kV Powercor Porcelain insulators Conduct tests such as: Dry AC flashover, wet AC flashover, polluted AC flashover and 50% impulse withstand tests guided by Australian and International Standards AS IEC 60060, AS62217 and AS60507.
