I head up the creative team which includes music direction, event co-ordination including Baptisms and funerals, presenting, service planning, and pastoral care and discipleship of my team.
I also head up the adult discipleship and Connect Group program. This includes liaising with group leaders regarding pastoral care concerns, organising team building events, finding teaching resources, and mentoring new group leaders. I have also written and presented two discipleship courses, including a Baptism course.
As the Associate Pastor, I preach regularly and am involved with staff leadership and general support of the Senior Pastor. I also have a high level of involvement in the Pastoral Care team which includes prayer, visitation, and co-ordination with other team members.
This role utilizes the degree I completed at the end of 2021. I am also undertaking a Masters in Theological Studies which will further benefit my role. I am an Accreditation Candidate with Baptist Churches of Western Australia.
I began as a part time receptionist. The majority of my role was the facilitation of accurate and friendly communication between clients and staff. I also had a number of roles, which directly assisted the partners and other accountants. I later took on the role of accounting assistant which included assisting with the audit of self-managed superannuation funds as well liaising with investment clients.
I spoke to High School girls aged twelve to fifteen about safe relationships and protective behaviours. Groups ranged in size from sixty to two hundred and presentations took approximately one hour. This was an incredibly rewarding role, which has taught me sound presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate succinctly whilst keeping audience engagement.
I began as as a Webster packer between 2007-2009. I later returned and my role increased in responsibility, involving some front of shop duties, and a large portion of administrative and dispensary-based roles.
As receptionist to this busy Occupational Therapy Clinic, I performed many general office duties including medical typing, billing, answering phones, managing basic bookkeeping and payroll. I kept a diary for approximately ten therapists across five clinics and liaised with patients and therapists.
My reception duties included maintenance of a diary for six accountants, liaising with clients by phone and personally, and working closely with the team of accountants. My role also included general office duties such as postage, typing, filing, and banking, organizing and collating documentation.
