My career at Parliament House has been a rewarding journey marked by growth and increasing responsibility. From modest beginnings, I have advanced to the high-stakes role of overseeing all cleaning operations for this prestigious institution. I enjoy the privilege of engaging with a diverse mix of people—from the public and staff to senior managers and Parliament presiding officials.
Steering a dynamic team of team leaders and cleaning professionals, I am committed to maintaining excellence in all aspects of our work. One of my career highlights is collaborating with the Collections and Heritage team, where I have contributed to projects such as preparing former Premiers’ busts for transportation, performing remedial cleaning on the Jubilee and Library Stack book collections, and organizing the relocation of various paintings and art pieces.
This extensive experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of how different departments intersect and operate within the Parliament buildings, allowing me to effectively coordinate our efforts with precision and insight.
