The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Programme is a space where 12-15 year olds learn about developing values that will help us to be of service to our local communities and strengthening qualities such as focus, service, friendship and teamwork. We also learn about strengthening a relationship with God through prayer and service.
One example of service is when we realised that our community was very disconnected, so we did a carwash and tried to have conversations with people to create more connection.
My junior youth group meets every week and during the holidays for a camp to study and learn about these important qualities.
